Working on my search for the mute, which will be posted here in subsequent chapters, I had too much fun to keep working on it in silence, and private. Or as private as you can be, in 2013, on a box that is not just connected to the internet but also hooked in a University network that pretty clearly advised you, before logging in, that your activities might be monitored.
Anyhow, without further ado, I'll explain all about it later, here's the first post which will be completely alienating if I don't state beforehand that this world is, in my view, not a real world but something else. A simulation, a virtual reality, perhaps a game. This post assumes the latter.
This world can't be real. It's a game! And then the news we read makes sense, all of a sudden.

The number one of the Global/'Media' leaderboard (cigc: Murdoch, Rupert) has established an alliance with the number one on the Europe/UK/'politics' leaderboard (cigc: Blair, Tony). Inworld relation established by connection within the 'religion[RC]/social' faction (acquired title: godfather). Duties paid by demotion of cigc Brooks, Rebecca (Europe/UK/'Media') which might affect position of cigc Cameron, David (Europe/UK/'politics').
Editors note: This is an interesting development for the Murdoch Guild and in particular the position of cigc Murdoch, Grace which some speculate will because of this be the next leader of the Murdoch Guild and host of its crwp. Betting odds and Share -, and PPE prices have reflected this change.

"The previous number one of both Europe/Italy/'Media' and Europe/Italy/'politics' leaderboards (cigc: Berlusconi, Silvio) has admitted defeat by the combined assault of the steadily growing EU faction in ALLIANCES/Europe/All/'politics' and has tumbled down the ranks of the latter board, but remaining position in the former.
Editors note: This will probably have little effect on Betting odds and Share or PPE prices since cigc El_Mahroug, Karima is reported to have made a record this month on PPE while staying on a modest avarage in both the Social/Sex and Social/Celebrity leaderboards. Speculation is rife she will soon retire this character, reminding us that these fast 'hit and runs' made famous by rigc Lewinski, Monica can still provide excellent starting projects for new players.

The leaderboard of Europe/UK/'religion[RC]' is in turmoil as it's number one (cigc: O'Brian, Keith) appears to be the victim of a HAR by an alliance of new players who joined the ranks of the slowly but steadily declining 'religion[RC]/hard-core' faction a little while back. This has an effect on the Global/UK/'Religion[RC]' leaderboard since it's current ranked number one (cigc: Ratzinger, Joseph), guild leader "Benedict XVI" (title: Pope) of [[FFS hardcore christian FTW]] has announced to retire this character and 'roll something completely diffrent this time'. Since cigc O'Brian, Keith was among the favorites to assume guild leadership and the Authorities are investigating claims of rigging, Bets are off, Shares are frozen while PPE is spiking for the HAR alliance.
Editors note: It is in a way strange that experienced players (Strauss_Kahn, Dominique & Berlusconi, Silvio & Domenici, Pete & Decheine, Robert & the list goes on and on) still fall for it and don't delete or at least retire their characters to limit damage on LTAP like digc Saville, Jimmy who has so far not disclosed the identity of the new cigc by it's rwp
